Today I would like to share a sketch of prince Ayron. I’ve only recently realised that I haven’t posted any drawings of him on my website at all! There is artwork of many other characters from the first book “The White Forest”, but Ayron has been missing. I shall keep you in suspense no longer.
The following image is of Ayron when he runs away from his father’s castle. And yes, that’s the Marvelous Castle in the background. He looks back for one last glance before his departure. Emotions well up inside him and he could no longer hold back his tears.
Has there ever been a time when you had to do something that was very difficult? But you did it because it was necessary.
Ayron’s journey begins as he leaves his father’s kingdom.
This sketch was drawn with a ball-point pen on regular printer paper. Yes, you read that right. I know that there are many artists out there opposed to ball-point pens, but I actually find them easier to use than the professional water proof inking pens. But no matter, this is only a sketch, so stay tuned for a full-colour drawing soon. 🙂
